Does it have automatic shutoff function when the water tank empty or ice basket full?

It won't be automatically shutoff but there are indicators on the control panel to show you if it is ice full or needs to be add water.
Can I put juice in the ice maker?

I read directions. They advise water only.
Does the ice maker need to be cleaned often?

I have only had it running for a couple of weeks, changing the water daily. So far, no problems needing cleaning.
Do you add water or need connection to a water tub?

you can only add water when it is needed. you take out the ice tray and add water to the sump. The water comes up to the bottom of the ice tray. There is a light that comes on when water is needed. There is no other way to add water to the machine.
Does this ice maker keep the ice cold until empty?

The ice keeps pretty well any thing that melts goes below and is reused. Nothing is wasted.
Does it have all bpa free parts?

Don’t care one way or another. It makes perfect chewy ice.
Can you use distilled water in it?

I exclusively use distilled water in my Ice Maker as it creates better tasting ice and clearer ice -- in my opinion.
How do you put water in it? I can’t get the water tank open.

You can put water in 2 ways. Remove the ice bin and pour water into the bottom reservoir. From the top lift straight up with the handle. Turn the top reservoir over and unscrew the plug. Fill the reservoir, replace the plug. Replace the top reservoir.
Have had my ice maker for 4 days the warning light came on now i have no ice or vold water?

Maybe ice on bucket causing it to stop.
Do you have to take the ice out and put it in the freezer or can it be in the machine I heard some machines the ice will melt?

I take it out and bag it and put it in the freezer.
Can this plug into a reg 110 outlet or does it require a special outlet?

It runs on a regular outlet.
Can you use this without drip tray?
