in the additional features says you can weld stainless and aluminum is this right?

this particular machine will not weld aluminum. it is mainly for steel. That said stainless is possible but you would have to get stainless wire spool to weld with. Aluminum is a softer metal and usually requires a spool gun to weld with. aluminum is also a much softer metal and very sensitive to extreme heat and or current from the machine.
Will this be able to weld 3mm sheet steel?

Yes I have welded heavier gage than that with it. It’s great little welder. Welding thick steel you have to watch your cycle times. But I never had a problem with that I use it all the time it’s a great flux core welder.
When welding Stainless with this machine, did you utilize inert gas?

Does not have ability for inert gas... flux welder only ... don’t know if I can weld stainless or not.
Can i use this for automotive use? Like exhaust fabrication

I have but Use (mp) multiple pass wire low steering ,faster wire speed is lower heat slower speed produces more heat as with all wire feed systems, do your a adjustments on some scrap to get it right.
what’s the difference between the silver colored flux core wire and the copper colored wire?

With any kind of wire welding you must have shielding gas to protect your weld. When using the silver colored flux-core wire the wire creates this gas coverage for you without the need of any compressed gas. This is due to the wire being hollow and filled with flux. When the wire burns into your weld the flux burns and creates a gas cloud around your weld, this cloud shields your weld from the atmosphere. When using the copper colored wire, also known as solid wire, you must provide shielding gas. This is done by having a bottle of compressed gas, generally a blend of 75% Argon and 25% CO2, fed to the machine through a gas regulator and gas hose. The machine will then allow the gas to flow during your weld to shield the weld from the atmosphere.
Will this run on modified sine wave?

The forums I’ve seen are a little iffy on this point of running any welder on a modified sine wave inverter. Most say they wouldn’t risk it, some say ask the supplier directly and make sure it’s in writing so it doesn’t mess up your machinery. I don’t believe this welder would behave any differently than any other welder in this situation. It’s not ideal but you could maybe do it. Maybe. I don’t recommend it.
will this weld mufflers?

Because the sheet-metal of a muffler is quite thin you need to run out a low output to keep from burning through the metal but it will weld just about anything.
Does this welder require a separate higher amp outlet?

No the standard 20 breaker to a normal 15 to 20amp Receptacle will be more than sufficient, just do not expect to put more electrical appliances on same cir and run them at same time. If you have to use a extension cord just make sure it's at least a 12 gauge.
