I'm impressed by this impulse sealer from GARVEE. It's the most economical bigger sealer I found, but to my mind it works like a perfect champ. There appears to be somewhat of an art to choosing the right temperature for sealing the bags, but once you reach it (and it seems to vary a bit from bag manufacturer to bag manufacturer) the machine seals cleanly. You press down the arm, the machine turns on and heats to the desired point, then the light goes out and the bag is ready to be taken out--sealed and cut by the heat of the sealer.
I would say not to leave much excess material around your bag. Seal it as close to the box in the shrink wrap as you can get.
Use product more than I thought I would. Can make my own size bags. Whatever size I need at the time. My only problem is that's it bigger than I realized, but it's no problem with any size bags throw at it.
Works as designed. Well built very sturdy for the price
Works great. I use it to seal the plastic packaging for my pizza crusts. Seals in seconds.
