Instructions could be more detailed, found a video on Amazon that helped with that. Item is very well built, but the grate has sharp edges, so I have taken that out. It’s been in our coop for 2 days, the girls eat out if it when I have it held open, but they are still unsure if it. Once they get acclimated, I think it will be a great addition to keep critters from eating their feed.
Rat free but sometimes it stays open exposed the feed
Took a little skills to put together but very good quality. Keep the mice out and birds
It holds a whole bag of feed with the extension, the chickens can't make a mess or poop in it and it keeps feed from being ruined by rain or shared by rats and mice. This is my favorite feeder ever.
