This review is for an attachment that goes on a cherry picker. I have had this item for approximately two weeks. I am a very experienced hobbies that does a lot of automotive work in his garage.The first caveat about this item is that it appears the manufacturer changed the item after I got mine, but before I posted my review. The item I got, which was the item I ordered, which I took a photograph of and pictured. Clearly this is different than what is being advertised. So I’m not sure how that works, but I’m going to review the item that I got.When I got this device, it was advertised at $90, which is a high price for a leveler. Honestly, I think you can get a similar leveler for a lot better price.The top chain easily attached to my cherry picker and the bottom two chain pairs are adjustable. So you can put different size engines on it with ease. It was a quality made, and it was very easy to adjust the centerpoint to allow you to tilt the engine one way or the other. The crank handle was smooth and the chains on it were strong and effective. The end of the chain have brackets with holes in them so all you need to do is put a bolt through the hole and into your block. It is very easy to attach your engine to this item and this item is very easy to use.Overall, I think the item works great. Additionally, I think it is a solidly built and quality product. It has all the features that you would expect for an item of this caliber. I just wish the price weren’t so high.

This adjustable load leveler works great! I just hate the handle; HF does the same thing where it's kept on with a bolt and nut configuration. This means that as you crank it, the handle comes undone. It's crazy annoying. Otherwise, I like this one better than my old one because of the ability to change where the chains bolt onto the leveler. Makes it easier to use with different things. It's a pretty good value for the money I'd say.

This is a sturdy engine lift. Very well made. The 4-stars are because of the instructions. Very poor pictures. I couldn’t tell the difference in most of the bolts and the pictures didn’t really help much. However if you are adept at building things it won’t be a problem. I just don’t know if I installed the correct bolts in the correct holes. At first thought I was missing bolts and customer service offered to reimburse, should I need to go to the big box stores. Very impressive. I kindly rejected the offer and tried building it again. Eventually I got it built. Lifted a 600lb lathe up 2 feet to connect to the legs. Extremely easy using straps, which aren’t included.All in all, definitely worth purchasing.

It is what it is, and does what you’d expect. Fairly easy to set up except for figuring out which bolts are what. There’s a diagram but the bolts look the same.This unit is exactly the same as any other I’ve seen. You can find one more expensive, but why?

The lift itself seems strong. There was no leak-down with 150 lbs hanging on it overnight. However, the assembly instructions are very bad - sentence fragments, sentence structure, words that make no sense, and the pictures are small and not clear. Bolt identification is difficult for bolts A thru G. You can identify some of the bolts (e.g. bolt E) by quantity. But trying to compare the bolt lengths to the bolt-comparison image in the assembly instructions is a pain. In the end, using some common sense, you can guess which bolts go in which holes. I still don't understand how they show a closeup of a grommet in the cylinder and call it the "air bleeding bolt". Their instructions for changing the oil are a joke. They talk about removing the oil plug on the side of the cylinder; but what plug is that? It also says to put in "the specified amount of jack oil" but I couldn't find where it stated the amount.

This engine leveler works perfect, very easy and to hook up my cherry picker used it to pull out the engine and my Chevy Silverado no problem pulling up v8. Using the crank on the leveler to get a better angle when pulling or putting the engine back in this leveler really helps. Its well made

Yes this really is marketed as a transmission hoist but can be used for many more things.Putting this on a standard transmission lift works great. I also have an electric hoist in my garage that I use when I have room to put my car in my garage.The quality seems to be really great. The chains seem very sturdy and hardened as described. I didn't notice any plastic material in this item.Super easy to install. It just locks in place and you are good to go. Again have used in a couple of different types of hoists and it is working great.No price currently listed for this item but I believe it was listed around $60. That's not too bad for this item compared to other items.Overall would I get it again, probably, would I recommend it, yes. So far so good.
