Works great. No smoke, just don't put wood in above the holes. Really has low ash, burns the wood down to nothing. Really throws the heat. Easy set up. The only thing I would have liked is some kind of lid when not in use,
Really happy with this, have probably had about 12 or so fires so far and it’s holding up great. Only complaint is the steel ring on the top isn’t welded down, and falls out of place with the slightest touch. I just took it off and don’t use it at all. Fires burn super hot and it’s great for sitting around.
Ordered this for my father-in-law for Father's Day. It has been a great addition while camping. It burns pretty hot and is smokeless. It does burn through wood pretty quickly though.
As someone who hosts weekly gatherings, this large fire pit is my MVP! The wide 360° heat keeps everyone warm without crowding, while the smoke-reduction system means no more watery eyes. The air flow control lets me quickly adjust for changing wind conditions. Despite regular use, the stainless steel construction still looks brand new after simple wiping. The protective stand lets me place it directly on my wooden deck without worry. At 27" across, it's substantial enough to be a focal point but easy to move when needed.
