I ordered this GARVEE Modern Print Rug Braided Look in the 6x9 Grey version... and I LIKE IT! Washable rugs are the best invention. Our household has a set of tween twins, a 120lb dog (pictured here), a 20lb dog, and two adults. Let's just say, things get dirty... Thanks to this rug, I don't have to worry about it anymore!This rug has some amazing things about it:•GREAT QUALITY•VERY SOFT•TRUE TO SIZE•NICE BRAIDED LOOK•DOESN'T SLIP AROUND•FEELS VERY DURABLE•COLORS ARE SHADES OF COOL GRAYAs you can see, my flooring (and basically the rest of my house) is a warmer gray than this rug. But, it doesn't bother me at all! This rug is an excellent value for the money because it is washable! I like to take rugs this size to the laundromat, for fear of ruining my own machines. I was searching for a runner rug to add to my bathroom, and this was so spot on.The rug is soft, and the design is adorableIt's not really textured; it's a print of the texture but I like it.
If you want a rug that has the looks of a braided rug and the softness of a thin modern rug, that goes under opening doors and into washing machines, then this is the rug for you. If you want a braided rug that is thick and rough, then this isn’t for you. If you look at the picture and don’t read the text, you might end up with something you don’t want. But you can’t blame the maker for that. I got what I wanted and I am well pleased. I think the ratings have been reduced by people not reading what they were getting and just looking at the pictures, but that is not really the maker’s fault, and I shall not mark this down for being what it is. I love it; the rug has transformed an empty hall into a welcoming entry to a home.
I was expecting this to be a woven rug with that scratchy, wooly feel to it. Not even close! I’m not sure if “printed” is the right word, but this is not woven at all. The pattern is actually colored on to the rug. It is extremely soft and about half as thick as it looks. We have had this down for over a week and it has not moved. It stays in place with a lot of traffic on it. All I can say was this was a very pleasant surprise! 5 stars!
I needed a longer runner for my kitchen walk through area - this one is 2X8. It has good earthy browns that are neutral and I could use it in other areas too if needed. The soft texture is great for your feet. It has a backing that helps keep it in place. Also, it is washable so it's good for high traffic areas. Definitely would recommend this rug!
When I ordered this rug I thought, at this price there must be something wrong with it. But there isn't. I wondered whether it would be some kind of braided rope fabric, but no, it is just like other modern thin rugs, really soft and welcoming. The look is just a printed pattern. So the only thing I have against it is waiting three weeks for it to arrive; but at this price, itis well worth the wait!
This is a great size for my hallway. It’s soft and washable. It’s great for an entryway, which is what I’m using it for. I love the fact that it is washable. It’s thin enough that it would fit under the doorway if need be it has rubber backing so that it stays on the floor and you don’t end up slipping. It’s exactly what I was looking for. I’m very happy with it.
Since we painted the door blue, I had been looking for a new entryway rug for a few months.This one is the right fit and close to the right color, but it has more white in it than what I expected from the pictures online. It will be close enough for now, because I'm tired of looking.It is soft and low pile. It stays down and in place.NOTE: This is not a braided rug, but has the appearance of one.
Even after reading the description, when I saw it, I thought this rug was an actual weaved rug.It arrived, and we pulled it out of the box and set it on a shelf. It was still wrapped in see-through plastic.It took me a few days to open the plastic, but all the while I could see it from my desk, and I kept thinking that what I was looking at was an actual weaved rug.Even after I unwrapped it and laid it out on the floor, I thought it was weaved.It was only after I went to roll it up to bring to my office that I realized it is actually printed.Quite convincing.
