Control Weeds Without Sealing the Soil

The tightly woven polypropylene structure reduces sunlight reaching unwanted growth while maintaining permeability for everyday watering and drainage.

3.2 OZ

Heavy-Duty Woven Fabric

Tear-resistant polypropylene construction supports demanding landscaping, agricultural and ground-cover applications.

WEED

Sunlight-Blocking Barrier

The dark woven surface helps limit sunlight reaching weed seeds and unwanted growth beneath the fabric.

H₂O

Water Permeable

Rain and irrigation can pass through the fabric instead of remaining completely trapped on the surface.

AIR

Breathable Soil Coverage

The woven construction permits airflow to help maintain a more natural environment beneath the ground cover.

CUT

Easy Custom Cutting

Trim the roll for plant rows, trees, flower beds, paths and irregular landscaping shapes.

3600

Large Project Coverage

The 600-foot roll covers extended areas with fewer overlaps and seams between separate fabric sections.

Three Functions in One Landscape Layer

Use the fabric beneath mulch, gravel or decorative stone to improve weed management while supporting drainage and cleaner separation.

Block

Reduce Weed Growth

Limits the sunlight available to many weeds beneath the covered area.

Pass

Allow Water and Air

Woven openings support moisture movement and soil ventilation.

Separate

Keep Layers Organized

Helps separate soil from mulch, gravel and decorative surface materials.

Healthy Soil Access

Water and Air Can Still Reach the Ground Below

Unlike a solid plastic sheet, the woven fabric is designed to provide weed control without completely sealing the soil surface.

Rainwater can move through the woven surface
Irrigation can reach soil and established plant roots
Breathable construction supports soil airflow
Permeability helps reduce standing surface water
Proper ground grading is still required for drainage

Durable Woven Construction

3.2 oz Polypropylene Fabric for Demanding Outdoor Projects

The woven structure provides strength for installation beneath mulch, decorative stone and properly prepared gravel surfaces.

Woven polypropylene provides useful tensile strength
Tear-resistant material handles cutting and positioning
Suitable beneath mulch, stone and gravel covering layers
Supports residential and agricultural landscaping projects
Covering the fabric helps protect it from direct exposure

One Roll Covers Up to 3600 Square Feet

The wide six-foot format and extended 600-foot length reduce the number of separate pieces needed for large gardens, pathways and greenhouse rows.

6 FT

Roll Width

Provides broad coverage across beds, rows and landscape strips.

600 FT

Roll Length

Supports long pathways and large agricultural projects.

3600 FT²

Total Area

Covers a substantial residential or commercial landscaping area.

400 YD²

Equivalent Coverage

Simplifies planning for projects measured in square yards.

Cleaner Surface Separation

Help Keep Gravel and Mulch from Mixing Directly with Soil

Installed beneath the finished surface, the fabric creates a defined layer between the ground and selected landscaping materials.

Helps separate soil from decorative gravel
Supports cleaner mulch installation around plants
Reduces stone and soil mixing along pathways
Creates a more organized base for landscape projects
Use an appropriate aggregate depth for driveway applications

Five Steps for Proper Installation

Preparing and securing the ground cover correctly helps improve weed control, drainage and the finished appearance of the project.

Clear the Area

Remove existing weeds, roots, rocks and sharp debris from the surface.

Level the Soil

Grade and compact the ground while maintaining suitable drainage.

Roll Out Fabric

Position the woven side evenly across the prepared area.

Overlap and Secure

Overlap adjoining sections and fasten them with landscape staples.

Add the Top Layer

Cover with mulch, gravel, stone or another suitable landscaping material.

Cut Openings for Plants and Landscape Features

Customize the fabric around established plants, irrigation points, posts and other fixed features instead of leaving large uncovered gaps.

X CUT

Planting Openings

Make a small X-shaped cut for seedlings and plants, then fold the edges around the stem.

ROW

Garden Rows

Cut straight planting lines for vegetables, flowers and greenhouse crops.

FIT

Custom Shapes

Trim around trees, shrubs, edging, irrigation systems and landscape features.

Suitable for Gardens, Greenhouses and Hardscape Projects

Use the large woven roll for planting areas, gravel surfaces, agricultural rows and general landscape maintenance.

Installation and Drainage Notice

Remove existing weeds and level the area before installation. Overlap seams and secure the fabric with suitable landscape staples. The material allows water through, but it does not correct poor grading or blocked drainage. For driveway or vehicle areas, install the fabric beneath an appropriately prepared and compacted aggregate layer rather than leaving it exposed to tires.
