This raised garden bed and greenhouse cover should be the perfect thing to protect my next garden. July in SC is too hot to start another garden, but this has all the things I need to make my next one better. First the cover will keep the pests away that ate the leaves off my last garden. It will also retain heat so I can extend my season some and get a fall garden in before it gets too cold. The irrigation system is pretty simple and when put on a time makes keeping up with watering easy. The raised bed helps since I have poor soil and this way I can invest in good soil and not have it wash out everywhere. The bed was 4 pieces that screwed together really easily. There are holes in the 4 corners to help stake it into the ground if needed. The plastic frame is similar to other greenhouse kits, with really easy instructions. I think it took maybe 20 minutes to get everything together. The frame pieces together tightly, so even when we picked it up to move it, none of the pieces came out. On the inside of the cover at the 4 corners are ties to attach to the frame. The only disappointing thing to me was that there were not more ties or any along the top. So having the cover open, it's really easy for the wind to catch it. I didn't take off a star, as I assume most people would keep it closed most of the time. The zippers are both smooth and easy to grasp. The cover is a pretty heavy plastic, which I think should last awhile, hopefully more than one season. It is a good value when you consider it contains the bed, the greenhouse cover and irrigation hoses all in one package.

This raised garden bed kit was another win from GARVEE for me. I really like that it is more than just a basic planter box. The raised bed, greenhouse style cover, insect mesh, and irrigation setup make it feel like a complete little garden station.The size is nice for a patio, yard, or smaller garden area, and the 12-inch depth gives enough room for vegetables, herbs, or flowers. I also like the pitched roof design on the cover because it gives the plants more space and helps keep pests out without making the bed feel closed off.The metal planter pieces went together fine, and once assembled, it looks neat and useful. The irrigation feature is a nice bonus too, especially if you do not want to constantly worry about watering by hand.I have had good experiences with GARVEE items, and this one did not disappoint. It is practical, looks nice outside, and gives you a lot in one kit.
