Does what I wanted it for.

Well built, sturdy and all my cushions fit. What I was looking for.

Decent deck box

This is a nice deck box. We are using it on our front porch for kids toys and misc outdoor stuff. It’s a good size. It was difficult to bend the plastic to fit the tabs on the side panels into the notches on the base. Some of the tabs broke off messing with it. I would hear it up with a hairdryer to assist bending if I were to do it again. Some scrap plastic pushed into the gap where the tabs broke off worked as shims to help pull together the side walls to the base.

Good Quality, Water Proofing Looks Secure, Manufacturer BADLY Needs to Update Assembly Assistance

Needed a new deck cube for furniture cushions as old one (a Rubbermaid model no longer being made) finally started leaking. This one after assembled looks very secure (hasn't sat outside for a summer yet) from the standpoint of not letting any water in, which is the most important need for me. The lid does open all the way and seems secure (not flopping back and forth which could invite breakage) - in some of the photos it did not look to me like the lid would fully open, but it does.My only complaint is that it is not easy to assemble because the parts are not labeled. My husband is an engineer, very good at spatial relation activities and kindly offered to assemble the cube. He as others have described connected the side panels together incorrectly the first time, and had to disassemble and start over. It is not clear at all the order the panels have to be connected.I would have gladly paid whatever extra it would have cost to have the panels labeled (for example match up A to A, B to B, etc) w/ stickers (the kind that peel off without leaving residue). I personally would have found assembly an exercise in futility and was really grateful for my engineer husband. Manufacturer - are you listening? Plenty of people have made similar comments.Aside from the assembly issues, happy with the product. I took the star off because of the assembly problems, not due to the product itself.

Careful with the instructions

It’s a nice product but take your time with the instructions. They are a bit vague and I made a couple of mistakes, but it goes together fine and appears to be a quality product.
