This is a great set! These boards are made from good quality bamboo. You can clearly see the pores and fibers in the wood. I plan on sealing them with oil to preserve them long term.
Our old bamboo chopping board finally cracked and so we had to throw that away. This set makes for an excellent replacement. Nice and sturdy wood, feels good and solid in the hand. The compartments are handy for moving over chopped food, it functions well. Overall a nice set that is well made and for me, better than plastic.
Light, easy to use, multiple sizes for different applications. The natural bamboo look makes it blend it with everything else. Easy to wipe off or quick wash in the sink for clean up. The board has held up well to different knives including a meat cleaver.
These go together to make a nice set with useful compartments.
