I picked up this electric ice crusher to handle snow cones and cold drinks for family gatherings, and it has been a reliable addition to the counter. The motor has a good amount of power, chewing through standard ice cubes quickly without slowing down or leaving large chunks behind. The texture comes out consistent and fine enough for slushies, which is exactly what we were looking for.The design is straightforward and simple to operate, featuring a wide opening at the top that makes loading the ice pretty easy. It feels sturdy while running, and the base stays firmly in place on the counter even when you are pushing down on the handle. Having a dedicated collection bowl included is a nice touch for keeping the workspace organized.Cleanup is relatively fast because of the stainless steel build, requiring just a quick wipe down after we finish a batch. It takes up a decent amount of counter space, so you will want to make sure you have room for it, but for hot days it is a useful tool to have around.

While my Wife was browsing through Garvee she came across this ice crusher, showed it to me, and after reading the details and looking at the pictures, we decided wanted it and I ordered it. Glad we did.This Ice Crusher/Shaver (should be called shaver) will shave right through the ice in no time. It sliced right through a whole cup of ice in a couple of seconds, no issue. We were quite impressed. It will do up to about 750 lbs. and hour. It has a 350W motor that runs at 2000RPMs and has an 8.98 gal hopper. It has 4 food grade stainless steel blades that will have your ice for slushies, smoothies, shakes, etc. It is built of sturdy stainless steel for long lasting commercial endurance. It also includes a stainless steel bowl. It is designed for commercial as well as home use. It will leak as the ice melts so be aware that you will get a puddle without a bowl left under it.It is relatively safe and easy to use but it is a serious high powered machine so cautioned should be used around it. No kids. If mishandled, it will hurt you. Be careful while running it and don't stick anything down inside (hands, etc.) while it is running and let it come to a complete stop (power off) before reaching inside. This Ice Crusher Machine is a BEAST. It's all stainless steel, heavy-duty, and super-simple. Zero assembly required, just pull it out and plug it in and it's ready-to-go. One switch on the side that turns it on and off, feed ice into it, finely crushed / shaved ice comes out. Quick clean-up too, just quickly wipe down the inevitable melted drips and it's ready to put away for next time. It's a little loud, but...it's crushing ice, there's no way to accomplish that quietly.FANTASTIC for summertime, especially during this scorcher of a summer we've been having - I can make snow-cone bowls at home with healthier syrup options so that I don't have to feel guilty giving them to my kids, and the machine is basically paying for itself!I do wish it shaved the ice just a *bit* smaller. I've been using it to make iced chai lattes for myself and some of the ice chunks are large enough to clog my wider straws. But overall this is my favorite kitchen gadget I've gotten in a LONG time!
