I really like these trimmers, but I have a few caveats. First, they work very well for their intended purpose. They are great for trimming small branches and especially for shaping and beautifying bushes and hedges. I think they would work perfectly for trimming bushes into animal shapes, like you see in the movies. However, they do not work well with hardwood or anything thick; they are strictly for making bushes look beautiful.Power, safety, and valueThe battery power is a total game changer. I would not even use these if I had to run an electric cord out, and I love that they use a standard USB-C charger instead of a special AC power supply. This means I can plug them into most of my other chargers without having to hunt for a specific one. I also like that it comes with two blade attachments for different trimming chores. At $30, this is a very good deal. Most comparable 2-in-1 cordless trimmers cost roughly $40-$60. Getting the convenience of USB-C and multiple blades at this price point is a good buy. My biggest caveat is that they are quite dangerous, as most electric hedgers are. You really need to watch your fingers while using these.

I was very surprised by this…it’s not a super duty hedge trimmer by any means, but it’s decent and gets the job done. Most importantly, it’s cordless…which is why I ordered it. It’s lightweight and it’s easy to use and control. You have to push and hold two different triggers to get it going (a safety trigger and a regular trigger), but you can let go of the safety trigger once it’s going. I will say that I personally have to use two hands to get the safety trigger and regular trigger going, but once it’s going I can use one hand. I actually like that cus it means it’s harder to accidentally start the tool. It’s not super powerful but it is powerful enough…it gets the job done. It’s not overly loud and obnoxious either. You can switch from one blade to another very quickly and both blades have come in handy for me. I like the color and size of the hedge trimmer, it charges fast, and the battery lasts a good half hour to hour. Haven’t had any issues, no jamming or anything. Imo this cordless gadget tool is well worth the value and I highly recommend it. I enjoy using it…it’s just super easy to get out and use compared to others I’ve had. This one is a very simple and basic design which I like.
