Very nice kit with wrenches that feel solid in hand. Each wrench has a closed box end with ratchet action.The carry case is also well made and feels like something that will last.Overall it's a very nice wrench set.
This is a good quality 20 ratcheting wrench set for the money. I own similar name brand wrenches and these look and function the same. The ratcheting part works well and makes using a wrench much easier. The ratcheting side does add a little bulk to the wrench, so in certain very tight fitting wrenching it can be problematic. This is true on all ratcheting wrenches.The large cloth carry case is a good one. It has 2 buckles which keep it securely rolled up.
The pouch has pretty heavy duty fabric. Edging isn't finished well, had to melt the end so it won't fray. It has a simple webbing handle. The ends of the buckle straps aren't finished so the clips could pull off. The plastic buckles feel pretty cheap.Inside of pockets has a clear plastic coating. Seems like a plastic that won't degrade and get stuck to the wrenches.Wrenches all have a nice mirror finish. Ratchets are 12-point, and all have consistent black oxide finish, no rust. Every one was operating smoothly.Handles are marked with size on both ends, and both sides. The ratchet direction is only marked on one side though.Simple one way ratchet, flip to reverse.
These are much higher quality than I anticipated. The storage kit is nice and durable as well, and includes buckles to secure it all. The wrenches are true to size best I can tell and fit snuggly, so no worry about stripping the bolt. The chrome finish is mirror-like, and the ratcheting mechanism is great. It ratchets with just a small change in angle so I am not constantly having to take the wrench off, flip it over, and put it back on just to get that small bit of rotation in tight spaces. I love it includes both metric and SAE so that I can grab one kit and be set. Compared to the wrenches I got years ago from my local Ace, these and the storage kit they come with seems much better. Sure, might not be the highest quality money can buy but they're definitely good for home use.
