Construction-Grade Geotextile Fabric

Strength, Drainage and Soil Separation for Demanding Ground Projects

Reinforce driveways, roads, French drains and erosion-control systems with a 6 oz nonwoven polypropylene fabric made for buried construction applications.

6 × 100 FT Large cut-to-fit roll
600 Sq. Ft. Approximate coverage
350 N Tensile strength
440 N Load rating

More Than Standard Landscape Fabric

This heavy-duty material is intended for drainage, filtration, separation and stabilization beneath aggregate, pavement and construction fill.

01

Heavy-Duty 6 oz Construction

Tough nonwoven polypropylene resists tearing and moisture exposure beneath driveways, road bases and high-traffic construction areas.

02

Water-Permeable Structure

Water can pass through the material while soil particles remain separated from gravel, stone and drainage layers.

03

Ground Layer Separation

Helps prevent aggregate from mixing into soft subgrade soil, supporting a cleaner and more stable construction base.

04

Cut-to-Fit Installation

The 6-foot-wide roll can be unrolled, overlapped and trimmed to fit trenches, roads, retaining walls and irregular project areas.

Three Essential Geotextile Functions

Designed to support water movement and preserve the structure of surrounding soil and aggregate layers.

DRAIN

Drainage

Allows water to move through the fabric instead of collecting beneath the project surface.

FILTER

Filtration

Helps retain soil particles while permitting water to enter stone and drainage layers.

SEP

Separation

Creates a barrier between soft soil and aggregate to reduce unwanted material mixing.

Build a Cleaner, More Stable Ground System

Installing geotextile between the subgrade and aggregate layers can help preserve drainage paths and reduce the migration of stone into soft soil.

Supports Aggregate Layers Helps keep gravel and crushed stone separated from the soil below.
Encourages Water Movement Permeable construction allows water to pass through the installed system.
Reduces Soil Migration Helps filter fine particles before they enter drainage stone or aggregate.

Built for Construction and Drainage Projects

Use the fabric where strength, water flow and separation are more important than basic weed control.

Driveway Underlayment Separates compacted soil from gravel and aggregate base layers.
French Drains Filters soil while allowing water to reach surrounding drainage stone.
Erosion Control Supports soil and stone systems in areas affected by runoff or movement.
Retaining Walls Helps separate soil from gravel backfill and drainage materials.
Road Stabilization Creates a separation layer beneath high-traffic aggregate surfaces.
Riprap Channels Provides filtration beneath protective stone and erosion-control systems.
Walkways Helps preserve separation between subgrade soil and surface aggregate.
Concrete Base Work Supports buried separation and drainage beneath prepared construction layers.

Simple Roll-Out Installation

Prepare the surface carefully and keep the geotextile covered after installation.

01

Prepare the Ground

Remove sharp debris and level or compact the subgrade as required by the project.

02

Roll Out the Fabric

Place the geotextile flat across the prepared surface without excessive wrinkles.

03

Cut and Overlap

Trim the material to fit and overlap adjoining sections based on project requirements.

04

Cover the Fabric

Add gravel, soil, pavement or other specified material to protect it from sunlight.

Construction Fabric, Not a Primary Weed Barrier

This product is designed mainly for drainage, soil separation, filtration and ground stabilization. When used near the surface, cover it with at least 3 inches of gravel, mulch or other material to protect it from prolonged direct sunlight.
