Performs as advertised. I like the way it stays on the bed square and doesn't shift around like other brands. Heat is comfortable and the timers are handy.

This heated blanket is awesome and heats up quickly! It's not the softest material, but that doesn't matter since it's probably going to be added with other bedding. It's an extremely heavy blanket, so I needed help putting it on the bed. With that being said, I know I wouldn't dare wash it without help. It is machine washable, but you won't be able to put this one in a regular washer. It's a high quality blanket, just really heavy- not a gift for an older person to use without having someone to help them with it.

Great blanket

Living in a home with concrete walls and tile flooring means our nights get incredibly cold in the later fall and winter months. As someone who struggles with poor circulation, finding a really great blanket is essential but can be a challenge—until I found this GARVEE Heated Blanket! Since it’s came into my life this blanket has truly been a life-changer for getting me the best sleep possible. The King size fits my bed perfectly, and the design is top quality. The internal wires are incredibly thin, once you’re under the covers, you don't feel them at all, just the consistent, cozy warmth.A personal favorite feature is the dual zone control. My partner prefers a cooler sleep, so the ability to heat just one side is a lifesaver. I can be perfectly toasty without making him sweat. The blanket functions flawlessly, offering multiple heat and temperature settings controlled by two independent, easy to use remotes with clear LCD screens and push button operations. This is by far the best heated blanket I’ve ever used. It functions exactly as intended and is a must-have for personal use or a fantastic, thoughtful gift!

This thing is massive and super comfortable. Functionality is a bit awkward with 2 plugs but works. Super warm, we’ve been using it more with the colder nights now.

Love that each side has its own control. I don’t turn on my side of the bed but I turn the other side on for my small dog who does not like cold winter nights.

I ordered the twin size in what they call the color ‘off white waffle weave’. I was happy with the look, feel and weight of it as soon as I unpacked it. It isn’t so thick as to be like a comforter, but the sherpa material makes it thicker and cozier than many other electric blankets I’ve had. There wasn’t any chemical or ‘ship smells’ on it. The waffle weave is also not really a weave, but it is a cool pattern; and, you need to be careful around pet claws, because it’s just as prone to snagging as a waffle weave. I have three cats, and they’ve been glued to my chair since I got this, even if the heat isn’t on. I’ve taken to using it upside down, with the sherpa side out, since it’s much more durable and snag resistant that way. The controller is intuitive and easy to figure out, with simple plus and minus buttons to change the 10 levels of heat. The timer goes up to 12 hours, in half hour increments. The cord is so long, I have half of it still tied up, since the power strip is right next to my bedside reading chair. I can’t use heated blankets on my bed due to the type of mattress I have, so I don’t worry about the giant safety tags that are always sewn right in the front of all electric blankets. There must be a requirement for these, though I really wish they’d be affixed to the underside. I do look forward to evenings curled up in this blanket, and it would make a great affordable gift too. I love that it’s big enough for me, my big chair, and three of my critters, too.

I love this blanket!! I ordered a king size so I had extra room since I have a queen size bed and it fits so nicely with plenty of room to bundle up if I want. It is so soft and not thin. There are two controls so dual system control (partner appreciated this a lot). I put it in level 3 for warmth and set the timer and it cut off and the level was not too hot. The only recommendation I would have is they need to put the controller plugs on the end & top so the cords don’t have to be stretch across the bed or down the side of the bed.
