This trash can is just as described and is exactly what I wanted. The size (outer dimensions: 24cm x 36cm x 42cm height) is perfect for my needs, which is to fit under the counter in my kitchen. There is a foot pedal to open the lid to about 70 degrees and when you take your foot off the pedal the lid closes slowly and silently. The lid can also be left open at 90 degrees by pushing it up gently with your hand, which is a very handy feature (e.g., if you are preparing food and you need to continually put food bits in the trash). The lid closes neatly and completely, however, if you put too thick a garbage bag inside, that might cause the lid to poke up a millimeter or two. The inner bin is easy to take out when you need to replace the bag. This trash can feels sturdy, looks attractive, and arrived without any dents or scratches.

Exactly what I was looking for. Small, thin, compact trash can to go near my work desk, up against the wall. My previous trashcan opened the long way and was annoying to throw anything into. This provides a much wider opening from the angle I use it at. Sleek design, durable material, would recommend.
It’s somewhat difficult finding an aesthetically pleasing small trash can with a lid. I’m using it to keep dirty cat litter, and I don’t notice a smell. The lid closure can be a little finicky if you don’t put the trash bag in correctly.

Took a little while to get here but packaged well and build quality is excellent. No annoying branding anywhere.
