This is non-slip which is great for me and a playful dog who scoots rugs all over the house. I love the colors even though they were brighter than I imagined. The pattern is printed on it yet it looks like a real braid, even up close. Nice optical illusion. I use a heavier wool throw for winter (insulation) and this is wonderful for spring and summer.

This is a pleasant informal rug that would look great in a sunroom, game room, for a casual comfortable feel. We love the look of it in our hobby and craft room. The color is brighter than a traditional rug and so it lightens up the room.This color works out great for hiding a bit of dog hair and shoe debris. So we're only needing to vacuum it about once a week.The look makes it seem like a hand woven, natural fiber mat from days gone by but it actually has a soft feel like a velor bathrobe.
This is a nice, heavy-ish rug that comes folded quite small in a heavy plastic case. This caused a lot of problems getting it to lay flat and look semi-attractive without having all the creases and bumps from folds. I ended up putting it on a heavy duty clothesline down in my basement, then sprayed it with ice water, and let it hang dry and that helped tremendously. There is a mild new textile odor right out of the box but it doesn’t permeate the house and wasn’t noticeable after a couple of days. These are the only reasons I gave it 4 stars, to be honest.Interestingly, I have had a couple of guests ask me if I made the rug (as I am an avid knitter) and I just laugh and tell them no. It DOES, however, look like it's a hand-knitted item. It is attractive and, importantly, doesn’t slip around.As cats will do, mine took the opportunity to break in the new rug with a nice little upchucking session, which cleaned up nicely and did not leave a stain, water mark or other indicator of anything that went *splat* on it, if you get my meaning.I honestly wish I had gotten a bigger rug (I only got a 5x7) as I now want to see it in my bedroom where that “homey” look would be right at home.
The rug is a very pretty shade of blue and it complements my office well, especially the curtains. The details on the carpet are printed on, and they have started to look a bit faded after a few months, but there is no shedding. Messes are easy to wipe, and I have no issues with vacuuming. It's a decent size, and I'm very happy with it
