Kind Tips：
The strainer basket built into the in/above ground pool pump tank should be inspected and cleaned at regular intervals.
The water being pumped cools and lubricates the seal.running the swimming pool pump dry will damage the seal. Always keep liquid in the pump tank. No further lubrication of the pump end is necessary.
After the pump tank has been filled with water, and the started,allow a few moments for the swimming pool pump to start delivering water. Be sure that suctions and discharge valves are open when pump is running.
Operating the in/above ground pool pump with a closed valve in the system can cause pool pump damage. If flow dose not start within ten minutes,stop the motor and determine cause.
Attentions:
When not use, please place the swimming pool pump in a well-ventilated dry area.
The swimming pool pump are only suitable for counter-clockwise rotation when viewing from the swimming pool pump end.
Before disconnecting electric connections, shut off electricity at its source.

So last year I bought a brand new pump which you see in the picture from Intex the pump only lasted for three months and started making a lot of racket. I called because I had warranty on it and they said because I had it plugged into an extension cord, it voided the warranty.So I stripped out the motor from the Intex placed a quarter inside of where the bearings were filled it with epoxy and using the B size filter.WOW what a difference that made went from a quarter horse to 1.1 used the old filters from last year, which worked perfectly by the way I think the hardest thing was to find the adapter to go from inch and a quarter to inch and a half and guess what Intex makes it 10 bucks so I didn’t have to retrofit anything overall very happy quiet and no cloudy water this year from all of the hardness and calcium just water and chlorine cool beans
Granted, I've only had it hooked up and running for a few hours but so far so good. It isn't too loud, much stronger than our old pump and is chugging away. One thing I didn't realize is there's no power button but that's not a big deal just unplug it. We needed to use some hose adapters, plumber's tape and 2 hose clamps per hose to get the connections not to leak. But the pump itself so far is doing just fine
Wanted to upgrade my wife’s 1/3hp pool pump that came with the above ground pool kit. At first, she was nervous that it would be complete over kill for what the pool was but it turned out to be one of the best investments for her pool. Not a single leak thanks to teflon. Wasn’t obnoxiously loud or difficult to operate. Feels, looks and works very well.
