So last year I bought a brand new pump which you see in the picture from Intex the pump only lasted for three months and started making a lot of racket. I called because I had warranty on it and they said because I had it plugged into an extension cord, it voided the warranty.So I stripped out the motor from the Intex placed a quarter inside of where the bearings were filled it with epoxy and using the B size filter.WOW what a difference that made went from a quarter horse to 1.1 used the old filters from last year, which worked perfectly by the way I think the hardest thing was to find the adapter to go from inch and a quarter to inch and a half and guess what Intex makes it 10 bucks so I didn’t have to retrofit anything overall very happy quiet and no cloudy water this year from all of the hardness and calcium just water and chlorine cool beans

Granted, I've only had it hooked up and running for a few hours but so far so good. It isn't too loud, much stronger than our old pump and is chugging away. One thing I didn't realize is there's no power button but that's not a big deal just unplug it. We needed to use some hose adapters, plumber's tape and 2 hose clamps per hose to get the connections not to leak. But the pump itself so far is doing just fine

Very powerful pump,it is doing what we wanted which is to run a vacuum that goes around the pool on it's own.

Over the years of pool ownership have had to replace pump several times. Last one of similar make/origin lasted 1.5 years before it burned out. We will see how long this one lasts

Excelente motor para piscinas , se debe comprar conectores para adaptar la tubería de agua dependiendo de lo requerido por tu piscina.. me encantó la presión de bombeo qué proporciona . No es ruidoso muy bajo nivel de sonido mientras está operando.
