Best out of all portable saunas...

I previously bought several other similar steam sauna, but the one with the middle zipper and this particular brand has a frame makes it the best of the bunch. Definitely recommend this one.

Not infrared, but it is an effective steam sauna

Item: GARVEE Portable Steam Sauna,Portable Infrared Sauna with 1000W Steamer, Home Steam with 5-Layer Waterproof, 600D Encrypted Fibre, Easy SetupFirst off, this is not an infrared sauna.Other than that, the sauna works pretty well. Assembly takes about 10-15 minutes and it goes together fairly easily. The shell and frame of the sauna look like they should hold up to continued use. It comes with a miniature camp chair that's not the most comfortable, but it works. While the steamer doesn't appear to be of the highest quality, it is effective. It takes about five minutes for the water temp to come up for it to start steaming. Once the steam starts, it provides a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. It's nice being able to do a steam sauna in the home, but I would have preferred it to have the advertised infrared as well.

Legit wet-heat steam sauna, easy setup, chair needs an upgrade

I’ve been using this portable steam sauna 2–3 times a week since Christmas (about 6 weeks), and it’s become one of those “why didn’t I do this sooner?” purchases.Setup is genuinely easy. First time took me under 10 minutes, and that included reading the instructions. It’s simple enough that I usually don’t even break it down, just slide it out of the way when I’m done. If you do need to pack it up, it’s not a chore.I run it in the living room while watching TV, and I always put a mat or tile underneath. I haven’t noticed it dripping or soaking the floor, but steam plus electronics plus flooring is not the place I like to gamble. The heat is a “wet sauna” heat, which I personally love. It’s not that bone-dry commercial sauna vibe, it’s more like a controlled steam room, and it feels great for relaxing and recovery. The steamer has been solid for me so far: no leaks, no spitting water, no weird behavior. Two fit/comfort notes:Upgrade the chair. I’m a bigger guy, and the included folding chair starts to sag and you can feel the support bars after a while.Height matters. I’m 6'4", and I’d call that about the upper limit. My toes touch the front, and you’re close to the knees-touching-the-fabric zone depending on how you sit.Usability is better than expected: the arm openings/pockets mean you can actually use your phone, change the show, or grab water without turning it into a full sauna escape mission.Bottom line: if you want a simple, affordable steam sauna experience without committing to a big install, this thing does what it claims. It’s not full-body unless you pull your head in or sit lower, but as a practical at-home steam setup, it hits the notes. I spray and wipe mine down after use and have not had any funky odors. I’d recommend it, with the chair caveat.

Easy home steam sauna that I actually use regularly

I got this portable steam sauna mainly to use in the evenings after long days at the computer and light workouts, and it has been a solid addition to my routine. Setup was straightforward, putting the frame together and zipping on the tent took about 20~30 minutes the first time, and after that it’s simple to use.The steamer heats up quickly and produces steady steam. I usually do 15 to 25 minute sessions, which is more than enough to work up a good sweat and feel relaxed afterward. I like the half-body design because my head stays out, so it never feels stuffy or claustrophobic. The remote control is very convenient, I can adjust heat levels or time without getting up, and there’s room inside to sit comfortably and scroll on my phone or listen to music. The fabric feels thick and well insulated, not flimsy, and it holds heat surprisingly well. It doesn’t take over the room, and when I’m done, it folds down for storage, which makes it much more practical than a permanent sauna setup. I keep a towel and a waterproof mat underneath and wipe it down after each use, which has been easy so far.One thing to keep in mind is that while it’s portable, it’s best treated as something you set up in one spot. Moving it to another room usually means partially taking it apart. That hasn’t been an issue for me, but it’s worth knowing.Overall, this does exactly what I wanted, a simple, effective home steam sauna that’s easy to use, relaxing, and feels like good value for the money.
