Honestly, I style my rooms very simply. This rug is actually very soft and does the job for what I needed it to do… which was to just fill the space and give the room a little extra umph. It’s not padded at all but obviously not all rugs are. I wasn’t aiming for luxury because the price gave me an idea of what I was going to get. But if all you need is a simple rug that looks nice, feels soft on your feet, and fills the void on your floor, this really isn’t a bad option at all. The price surprises me just because I know rugs are usually expensive. Perfect for what I personally need :-)
It looks just the same as in the pictures. What suprised me was how incredibly soft the rug is. I don't believe I've ever felt a rug quite as soft and smooth as this one. I didn't mind at all how thin or low profile it was. It's impossible to trip over! It helps too that bottom is rubber and doesn't move around. I was able to use it right out of the packaging because it didn't have any creases despite being folded up and it didn't have a chemical smell that some new items like this do. I have yet to wash it but I'm confident if I follow the instructions this rug will be ok and last a good while. It's not easy to find an affordable rug as nice as this!
We have an elderly dog who is finding it harder and harder to walk on the hardwood floors and we need rugs everywhere for his anxiety and comfort. This runner is great for narrow spaces like halls. It is soft and he likes laying on it. It is also nice and thin, and our Roomba can easily run over it. The grip on the back is outstanding and it easily stays put. The pattern is classic yet modern and should easily go with most decor. I'm very happy with this one and would buy again.
