Easy to assemble. Sturdy for 4-8 YO. Not bulky fits nice in a child's bedroom. The surface does stain when washable markers are used. Anything harsher will stain the surface but still great product. Love the look. Cork board, whiteboard built-in and the sturdy book and file divider are a great touch for organization. Helps teach little ones to tidy up and keep items organized.

My 5 year old niece loves to draw. The problem was that she was drawing on the kitchen table and making it difficult for her mom to cool. I looked at a lot of desks but the GARVEE product looked solid and easy to assemble. It was NOT cardboard posing as wood either. She loves the place to put her books, too!
Hopefully it will hold up until the six year old outgrows it. A bit labor intensive. Seems sturdy now that we reinforced it and it’s the perfect size for a child. Decent pricing, fits in the room well, and is quite attractive.
