We bought an above ground pool for our son this past summer and the pump that came with it just couldn't keep up. So my husband bought this one on Garvee and I'm do glad that he did. We were able to enjoy the pool for the remainder of the summer without having to empty it due to it getting do dirty. It's quiet, not a lot of noise, it kept the water maintained and helped keep the water circulating.I would recommend it
Set up was fairly easy, pump works great and our pool has been so clear ever since!
I installed this as a replacement for a filter I installed about 7 years ago. The directions seemed clear and were very similar to the ones I've installed in the past. HOWEVER, be careful the valve ports are labeled differently than the instructions. The pump port and the return(pool) port were swapped. It made the swap out more difficult, but it works good. The labels on the valve ports are almost hidden. There is no timer function to rate.
