pool pump and filter

Just installed the pool filter combo in a 10' stock tank pool, size is perfect for the small pool. getting it primed for the first time took a little longer than expected, but it did work. The pump itself is very quiet and easy to install. Used sand in the filter instead of the provided filter balls. If it lasts for a few seasons, I'll be extremely satisfied with the purchase. Shipping was quick, three business days.

Powerful pump but no timer

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have had this pump for a few weeks and so far it is working good. The 3/4hp pump has made a big difference in keeping the pool clean. The filter balls are nice to have. No dealing with sand is a plus for me. Would like to have had a built in timer. That would have convinced me to give it 5 stars but other then that it's does the job really well on my 5000gal.pool.
