Good basic rack for a home lab

For the price, one can't complain.Good for a small home lab.I mounted 2 servers, a network switch, a firewall, a PDU, and various wifi devices on the included shelves.Pros:- Cheap- Adjustable depth, deep enough for most servers.- 1U and 2U shelves are included. The 1U shelf is a little flimsier, so don't expect putting much weight on that one. However the 2U shelf is very sturdy.Cons:- A few scratches on the posts- Stripped a few screws/holes when mounting the gusset corners. I usually had 3 out of 4 screws that were rock solid though, so that won't be an issue for something you only install once and forget.- When extending the rails, you will need a powered screwdriver/drill to fasten the phillips screws into their new holes.It just comes with enough mounting hardware for the shelves.So buy yourself some cage nuts, screws and washer for your rack equipment.

Very very sturdy. Made out of excellent steel. I had to take it and shorten it from 20 in to 16 and it was really easy to take apart and cut and put all back together again. I would buy another one and I just might for my other gear. Thanks!

Sturdy network cabinet

This item is very sturdy and well designed. This met my home networking setup. It had plenty of room for my switch, server and router. I intend to mount it on the wall and it did come with the hanging hardware. Great product!
