This patio umbrella is very nice and sturdy.I had it up about a month and a half.It is still looking new.It is big.Covered up a big area.Very strong and sturdy and good staying power.Durable and nice.Looks great too.

Has been a month since I deployed this GARVEE Double-Sided Umbrella and Last weekend, as temperatures climbed into the 90s, I tested this GARVEE double-sided patio umbrella on my backyard deck. Love this umbrella for our backyard deck setup shown in the photos. The navy blue fabric matches our railings perfectly, and the 13ft width easily covers our patio table, and seating area—no more scrambling for shade on sunny days. Already planning more deck nights thanks to this gem.

Just set up this umbrella last week and couldn’t be happier. The dark blue canopy is vibrant against our white brick house, and the 6.5ft depth provides ample shade for our new patio chairs. The manual was clear, so assembly took 20 mins max—even for a first-timer like me. Love that the 12 steel ribs keep it steady, even when my kids lean on it.

This is a really nice durable umbrella. This is the umbrella only. The cover is a little thin but still blocks the sun. There were small pin holes around the end pockets were the umbrella goes onto. Don’t know if they will leak or not. The hardware is very durable and made out of metal. Very easy to put up and take down. I really like it because it is super wide. For the money, I think this is a good buy.

I ordered this oblong patio umbrella to provide shade for an outdoor sitting area. I just received it and am pleased with it so far.Set-Up:Setting this up is incredibly simple. The umbrella canopy, frame, and crank are all ready to go straight out of the box, the only piece you need to connect is the bottom half of the post, which just slides in and clicks into place. It takes a matter of seconds. You do need something to secure this into, like a patio table designed to hold an umbrella, as the base of the post is just smooth and flat.Use:Opening or closing the umbrella is equally simple. So much so, in fact, that my preschooler was able to figure it out and operate it without assistance immediately. There is a crank handle on the post with clearly labeled arrows showing which way to turn to raise or lower the umbrella. It takes hardly any effort and anyone should be able to operate it.Functionality and Quality:As a shade umbrella, this works great! It provides adequate shade for a few chairs or a large outdoor table. There is a warning tag on it advising to not use in inclement weather, which makes sense. It does feel reasonably sturdy but I don't think it's designed to hold up to wind. Also, unless you have it really braced in place, there's nothing to prevent it from swiveling from wind. The quality seems good and it appears and feels like it is well made. The post feels hefty and the fabric doesn't seem cheap or flimsy. When you crank it open, it just stops lifting once it's fully open. When closing it, it doesn't crank to a super tight configuration so you need to pull it together just a tiny bit at the end to wrap the strap around and secure it shut.Size:This looked a bit smaller than I expected it to when I first set it up and upon measuring it, I found there are some discrepancies in size. The overall length of mine is just 12 feet. Width is 6 ft, 2 in. The height of the post from the ground to the base of the crank box is just under 45 inches, and from the ground to the bottom edge of the umbrella frame is just under 79 inches.Overall, despite the slightly smaller than expected size, I am very pleased with this umbrella. Operating it is very simple and smooth, it folds down to a nicely compact size, and provides a nice amount of shade when open.

Arrived about 4 days early which is always nice. Has a nice sturdy metal pole which should hold up well. Assembly and installation was about as easy as it gets. Place the bottom pole in your umbrella holder. Push in the button, line up the hole and slide the top pole on until it snaps in place. Bam, you got it made in the shade! Took all of about 5 minutes to unbox and install. All the stitching seems to be good and the crank & expansion mechanism worked great. I like it because it has wider side coverage for my chairs which is what I needed at the cost of front & back coverage which I didn’t really need. I got a nice tree for that lol. It has 3 top vents instead of just one like on normal umbrellas which will lower the wind pressure on it a bit more. For under $100 it creates more shade where ya need it and I think it’s a great value.

Quality seems acceptable and the price is right although time will tell how long the fabric will hold up. The fabric feels very thin compared to other umbrellas I’ve owned that are waterproof. It’s meant for sun protection only (not water proof). I plan to spray the fabric with a hydrophobic coating to make the material suitable for light rain. I installed 3 umbrellas using deck pole mounts and am happy with the results. Hopefully they hold up over time. They are providing adequate shade during this heat wave.

Good umbrella for the price. I have it on a movable stand, which makes it convenient all around the patio. I Probably would’ve purchased a larger one, but happy wife happy life.
