Garvee 24" Built-In Electric Wall Oven - 2.5 Cu.Ft 2000W 360° Convection Single Oven with 5 Rack Positions, Black

We bought this as a replacement for an old oven in our lightly used vacation condo. It is not the same as a regular oven, but it will serve our purpose. It runs on 240 volts, 60hz. It uses a 20AMP three prong plug to connect, not direct wiring. it has a single top heating element like a regular oven which generates 2000 watts, so plenty to broil or bake. The bottom heating element is only 1000 watts, is not an exposed element so it heats from the bottom but does not use direct heat like an element, so things like frozen pizza does not crisp on the bottom. Despite the claims, it is NOT a convection oven. It does have a fan, but that fan actually circulates air outside of the oven box to prevent heat buildup that could cause a fire in surrounding cabinet elements. This insulation layer of heated air exhausts through the top of the front door through vents, into the kitchen space. It may add a lot of heat into the room it's installed in. It does however, meet our needs, is compact and easy to install. Only other point is that we think it was created for the Canadian market so the temps on the dial are a little strange for the US (i.e.; 347 degrees, 254 degrees, 477 degrees, etc. You can see in the photos that it didn't fill the old space but we added some tile underneath to cover the space. it works for us, just not a complete replacement for a true oven. I would buy it again if the need arose. It was delivered in great condition and actually a day earlier than expected.

This wall oven has a stylish design that fits perfectly in my kitchen. It preheats quickly, heats evenly when the convection setting is turned on, and produces excellent baking results. I prefer the simple controls. And I love its cooking functions— plenty of options without being complicated. The size is just right, and it’s easy to clean.
