My daughter absolutely loved this birthday present! Super cute and powerful enough to go over bumps and large sticks in the yard. The battery last a while on normal speed mode but drains quickly on high speed mode. That could also but because we've used it in the lawn so far. But my daughter's face in her new car is worth every penny!
Purchased the Escalade for my granddaughter and it looks like Papa’s car. Overall a good product except for steering the car with the remote control. When you give the left/right button a press to turn it has a very quick action and is very hard to determine how much the wheels will turn. You continuously have to press the left/right buttons to get the car to track in the direction you want. My son-in-law who is also an experienced video gamer can control it better than me but he also says it is difficult to get the car pointed in the right direction.
Before this, weekends were “screen time + begging for ice cream.” Now? We’re outside every day. My daughter loves pretending she’s “driving to Grandma’s house” in her blue Cadillac—she even “checks the mirrors” (too cute). The battery charges fast (about 4 hours), so if they drain it in the morning, it’s ready for afternoon rounds. Pro tip: The cup holders (yes, cup holders) fit their juice boxes perfectly. I didn’t think a ride-on could make me look forward to weekends, but here we are.
