GARVEE's 28 gallon resin deck box gets 5 stars for quality but 3 stars for ease of assembly. Let's start with the assembly. The sides and bottom were super easy and quick to put together, causing me optimism that the lid would be equally easy. Not so fast. The lid was very tricky and time-consuming to attach to the box (and you need a screwdriver, which isn't included). Maybe better directions would have made the process easier, but the included directions are not very helpful at all with respect to the lid construction. After trying and failing to attach it on my own, I enlisted the husband's help--and although he eventually got it, it took him several rounds of trial and error (and a few choice words that I won't repeat here). The seller would be wise to take heed and at least improve the instructions.But the memory of our assembly frustrations faded in light of the finished product. It is a quality box--very sturdy! Like the ad says, it can double as a bench: it holds my weight, which is not true of a similar-sized deck box we own. The size and capacity are just what we need to store miscellaneous gardening paraphernalia to help keep our back yard tidy. I haven't tested whether it is water resistant yet (we are experiencing drought conditions currently), but from the secure grip of the lid, I do expect it to prevent water seepage.In sum, this is a solid outdoor storage box, with the caveat that the lid assembly may cause you a few gray hairs.
