Buttery soft yet thin

We've been buying a lot of rugs because we just bought a new house. Every rug it seems is completely different in how soft it is, how thick it is. How nice it lays.I am extremely pleasantly surprised because this rug is extremely thin yet has enough weight that it lays down pretty much flat within 24 hours.It comes all folded up so I did not expect much. It is surprisingly buttery soft on a hardwood floor. You would think it's not that comfortable but everyone can't stay off of this rug!Be careful though, it's SO soft that it's almost slippery with socks.I'm returning a much bigger, more expensive rug that the creases won't come out and not nearly as soft to purchase another one of these.Will update after we vacuum and wash it.

Washed it in cold water to make it not travel on top of the carpet. That was the trick.

This wasn’t my first choice but I like it. Mine is on carpet and it just moved all over the place when I walked on it I had already returned two of them for doing the same thing and had tried everything from carpet tape and the rubber liner that goes under it and was going to send this back too but decided I would just wash it and see what happened. I put it in cold water on delicate and it worked. I’ve washed it three or four times now and it looks just as vibrant as when I first got it. I would buy again. I wish I had tried washing the first one I ordered but thjs one is fine.
