When my daughters were babies, I did not have them sleep in their own room until they were no longer nursing. My daughters are now having children and I got this bassinet for times that I babysit so my grandchild is in the same room for me to be able to easily get up and feed, burp, change diapers, etc.I love that this bassinet has 6 adjustable heights so I am able to put the height where I want it to be easy to reach my grandchild from my bed. I can also wheel the bassinet into other rooms to keep my eye on my grandchild wherever I need to work while they are sleeping. The wheels luckily lock so there is no issue with the bassinet rolling off on its own. The bottom of the bassinet has storage for diapers, clothing, blankets, etc.I am very happy that this bassinet has mesh sides for airflow and to keep my grandchild safe when sleeping. You can incline one end up to 7 degrees higher on one side than the other, but I only use it flat because I am worried about my grandchild flipping around with their head down instead of up on the incline. I feel much better with the bassinet flat.This bassinet is also a travel bassinet so if you are a parent and travel a lot, this is easily transported in the travel bag to anywhere you go. Overall, it is a great bedside bassinet! I am so happy with it!

I like that it can be used as a standalone bassinet or you can drop the side for co-sleeping while keeping the baby safe if the parents are active sleepers. With two people it came together in under 10 minutes.
