I use it to pry up rock slabs that have fossil footprints underneath. It’s built well, solid, the mechanism works flawlessly. Even the lever to switch from up to down flips easily under load. Hypothetically if you were to use it in an inappropriate situation such as soft uneven rocky ground the odds of it holding are very good. It weighs a ton. If you are looking for a lightweight jack go see a doctor before you drop something on your melon. Note: This is a manual jack. You use your arm muscles to make it go up. It does NOT automatically lift anything by means of a gas engine or electric motor, it is not WiFi enabled and there is no app. It comes with instructions if you need assistance operating what is arguably one of the simplest mechanical devices since the lever.

On the farm, I also use it to lift fence posts, straighten curved guardrails, and even lift tractors for simple maintenance. It's a multi-functional machine. Of course, using it requires some skills and safety awareness. Make sure the ground is solid and use the frame to support the pier as the final safety measure after it is lifted. This is a reliable and powerful investment for off-roading, farming or any outdoor work.

I used this item when I was replacing rotted sills on my garage. I screwed a 2 x 6 piece of wood onto my studs and then placed the two jacks to support the wall while I cut and replaced all the rotten wood. The jacks were easy to use and worked great for this project!
