This “Fence Post Driver” is large and strong. They claim it is 18 pounds, and I believe it. I often have to drive metal fence post stakes into the ground on our property. In the past I used gloves and a 10-pound mall and hoped I did not smash my hand. This post driver will make my job a whole lot easier.This thing is large, strong and well made. The metal is thick, and the welds are strong. The paint coating seems well done and should hold up and prevent rust. I cannot see this failing ever under any type of usage. The design is perfect for holding as you are pounding down a stake. Overall, I am very pleased with this post driver. It will get a lot of use on my property.

This was a perfect solution for driving 4x4s in the creek bed for a small dockLoved it and good for any other needed post that will fit the diameter
I had previously purchased a post driver with only an 18” length, but the post driver kept coming off of the post. Almost caused an injury.I returned that post driver and bought this one with a 25” length. This keeps the post inside the driver and allows more power to drive the post.All that said, at 18 lbs it’s pretty heavy and can be hard to lift if you have the post in one hand and the driver in the other hand.
