I use this almost exclusively for my everyday jewelry and glasses, and it’s been fantastic. My rings and earrings come out looking noticeably brighter, especially around little crevices that are impossible to clean by hand, and my glasses finally lose that stubborn haze that never seems to wipe away completely.It looks and feels durable - built to last a long time. The tank is a great size for home use, the controls are simple, and once I drop everything in the basket with a mild solution, it’s basically a set-it-and-walk-away situation.For anyone who wears jewelry daily and is constantly wiping smudged lenses, this little workhorse makes a big difference.

I have a 4 gallon (15 liter) ultrasonic cleaner that I use to clean auto parts and it does a great job however when I need to clean a small part such as a lawnmower carburetor the cleaners the large volume 4 gallon tank requires a lot of cleaning solution and also necessitates a long time to heat the solution often in excess of an hour. To resolve my problem I began looking for a cost effective small volume ultrasonic cleaner. Luckily I found this 3 liter (0.8 gallon) ultrasonic cleaner manufactured by GARVEE that looked like the perfect solution to my problem so I decided to check it out. The base of the GARVEE unit measures approx. 10.5 x 6.5 inches with a height of approx. 9 inches. The smaller footprint is an added bonus because it doesn’t take up as much space on my workbench. The tank has a maximum liquid depth of 6.5 inches and without using the basket will accommodate items up to 5 x 9 inches. Using the included stainless basket will accommodate items of approx. 8 inches long and 4.5 inches wide and with a height of just less than 2 inches. The all stainless steel construction of the tank, basket and exterior of the unit will prevent corrosion caused by cleaning solvents. The digital controls allow setting the temperature to a maximum of 176° F while the timer allows a maximum of 30 minutes run time and both are indicated on their respective LED digital readouts. Next to each digital readout are 2 blue LED's, indicating the heating element and the ultrasonic transducers are operating (see photo). The unit is simple to operate due to the straightforward layout of the control panel. I tested the unit to see how long it took to heat the cleaning solution and how well it functioned. I started out by pouring warm tap water into the tank (approx. 90° F). In about 20 minutes the temperature reached 145° F so I set the timer for 1.5 minutes. The transducers worked perfect and both produced small bubbles indicating they were working as designed. The GARVEE ultrasonic cleaner met all of my expectations and is an awesome addition to my shop that will save me time and money in terms of requiring less cleaning solution and based on its high quality construction and functionality I expect it will provide years of trouble free service.

This digital ultrasonic cleaner is perfect for anyone needing to clean mechanical, small, or intricate parts, but is most commonly used for jewelry cleaning. This ultrasonic cleaning machine was a little smaller than I expected for 6 L. The machine itself looks and feels very high-quality and heavy duty. There is no difference between this and a larger commercial/industrial one, this is simply a smaller scaled version. For this reason, I think this is perfect for cleaning jewelry or small items like golf clubs or small gears and tools. The instructions are very detailed and informative on how to operate the machine safely. There was no cleaning solution included, but you can use soap and water. I think it’s very important to read the instruction manual completely if you are not familiar with this type of machine because using too high frequency can damage items, especially if you are planning to use this commercially or professionally. Overall, I think this is a amazing item to have because of its versatility, high-quality and heavy duty material, and overall capabilities.

I was instantly drawn to this digital ultrasonic cleaner by its ability to clean jewelry, as I have numerous jewelry items needing to be cleaned for my online store. When it arrived, I was surprised by all the other things that I could clean with the device. In the suggested uses on the product page, it says "glasses," so my first test was on 2 pairs of eyeglasses. The black wire frames are the less expensive pair, which I use daily because it is lightweight. The other is my pair of heavy and expensive black and white Calvin Kleins.In went the glasses, with a little Dawn dish soap and lukewarm water. The instructions say not to put items on the bottom of the basin and to place everything in the included basket, which I did. However, the basket is not a fine mesh and small items will fall between the basket holes. I will get a finer mesh basket to use for the jewelry. There are convenient handles on the sides of the device.There are 3 modes, one being "Gentle," which is for jewelry and eyeglasses. The device is easy to operate; I just pressed the button, and the machine did its thing for almost 1/2 hour. I took a little video of it so you can hear it; it's on the loud side. My video sounds quieter than it actually is.My daily eyeglasses—ouch! The machine peeled some of the paint off of them. I'll use some clear nail polish to hopefully keep it from spreading any further. The Calvin Kleins are okay, but I won't be putting any more eyeglasses in this machine. I wouldn't have thought it would be strong enough to peel the paint off with only dish soap.Despite this, it did a great job and taught me a valuable lesson. I thought that if any damage occurred to an item, it would be from the solution, not the vibrating machine. And seeing what it did to my poor little glasses, I can imagine how well it is going to work on cleaning tools.
