I've had occasion to install several of this type electric fireplace, so part of what I have to say is in comparison to others. The first thing I noticed was how much heavier it is! I think it's the gauge of metal they used, nice and thick. I originally planned to mount it directly to the wall, but the instructions say it can be mounted in a recess . . brain kicks in gear. After looking at it and picturing it in the space, I felt it would look better if installed in a recess, so I made a box bolted to the wall. I'm happy with how it turned out, and it didn't take long to learn the basic functions.This fireplace has more capabilities than the ones I've used, especially in having a timer function- you can set it to come on at the same time every day, with or without the heat. For us that isn't a function we would use, but I can see if you had this in a bedroom or bathroom and wanted the room warmed up to a certain temperature by the time you got out of bed . . that could be really nice! It learns the room, and will attempt to turn on and begin warming so that at the set time it will have achieved the target temperature- crazy. If it senses an open door or window it will stop heating until it is closed. Of course, it also has an overheat safety, so it will shut itself off if needed.There are twelve flame settings as well as a brightness adjustment if you want to dim the appearance or turn off the flame (trying to sleep?). They included both imitation logs and clear glass crystals, it's nice to have choices. The fireplace is controlled by both remote control and physical buttons, the buttons are discreetly placed in a recess near the top corner- some fireplaces have the buttons on the top or side, so wall mounting is the only option. The heat can be set to a target temperature in either Celsius or Fahrenheit, with either a high or low element setting, and it will attempt to maintain that room temperature (between 60 and 99 degrees Fahrenheit). The heat comes out vents at the top, the vents go all the way across but the heat comes out the center portion.The instructions are a large format book 22 pages long, all in English. There's a QR code you can scan for support. Everything needed for a wall hung installation is there except tools. I needed a stud finder, level, drill and screwdriver. Whoever was in charge of writing the instructions did a great job, it was clear and organized.When comparing this model to similar ones from the big box stores, it looks like this is a great deal at under $150. I'm impressed.

Absolutely love this electric fireplace — the build feels premium and solid, not cheap at all. It looks stunning on the wall and instantly upgrades my living room, adding a luxurious and cozy atmosphere. I love being able to change the flame color and speed depending on my mood, and the remote makes it super convenient. The flame effects are beautiful, give cozy vibes with decent warmth, and do it all without the hassle of a real fireplace. Worth every bit.

This is a truly gorgeous and highly functional electric fireplace from GARVEE. The staggering twelve different flame color options put on quite a show, and the heat output of this unit is exceptional. I ordered the 50" version of this fireplace and it arrived extremely well packaged and in perfect condition. This is a very large, very heavy piece; while hanging it on your own is possible, an extra set of hands is definitely beneficial. I love that this heater can either be fully recessed for a true fireplace look, or simply wall mounted. While my husband and I intend to recess our unit, its arrival so close to Christmas has delayed that plan until after the holidays; so, for now, we have opted to use the wall mounting option - it's great to have both possibilities.I also love that you can use either the faux logs or the ice embers, for either a more traditional looking "fire" or an ultra-modern look. I do want to mention that if using the faux logs, it does impact the color of the LED lighting element in the "bed" of the fireplace. Since the logs are brown, the lights shining beneath/through them don't always create the best color match for the flames behind them. As the crystals are clear, their color output gives a much more true lighting color that matches the flames more consistently. Both options look great with the more traditional reds/oranges/golds, but if you want to use some of the more unusual color choices, the crystals will provide the best results.I am absolutely thrilled with this amazing fireplace. It is a tremendously high quality product that makes such a massive impact in the home. Currently priced at only $154.76, the value is exceptional. I have looked at a lot of these faux fireplaces, and this unit offers - by far - the most bang for your buck. I am so impressed with it and would highly recommend it. Absolutely love this electric fireplace! If you have very hung a flat screen tv then you can easily hang this! It has different modes in which you can adjust the flame color, flame brightness, heater temperature and intensity. You can also set a timer which is very convenient. It has a remote control but you can also adjust it manually. You can also choose between the logs or you can remove them and add the glass beads instead. It’s quiet even with the heater on it’s no louder than a small fan. It looks fantastic hanging in our master bed room and we love looking at it!
