Very easy to install mounted or recessed. We went with wall mounted. Adds to the cozy feeling on a cold night. The heater works perfect for our living room 12x14 space. This will come in handy when we go below zero to help with the furnace struggling to keep temp due to -40 windchill. I love the different color options and brightness levels and the timer function. The only con is when wall mounted the plug is located on the right side of the unit. My plug was on the left. It was a tight squeeze, so in my opinion the cord could be about two feet longer. The price was unbelievable compared to to others I have researched. I highly recommend.

Great heater. It took some time to get it mounted, you will need some help if you cant do construction. After getting the hole cut in my wall and framing out for it it slid right in nice and tight. Love the colors and the look. The heat output from it is nice and even. The remote works great. I just wish it had a wall mount option as well.

Awesome fireplace!!This is an easy to use fireplace heater. It is ready to use out of the box. It comes with a plug in cord and also the clear stones for the bottom and lighting effect.It can be installed in the wall but we just have it sitting on out fireplace mantel since it is a plug in. It is a good size, it has logs that are designed inside and the clear stones help to show the flames and the different colors.It does also put out heat, it is a large cool heater. I really like it. It looks great and it will warm up a room after about 30 mins.It is lightweight, well made, easy to use, keeps you warm and looks so cool doing it. The price is reasonable for what you get. I am very happy with it.

This is an amazing fireplace with a 5000BTU Output! It is ultra-slim so you can either recess it into a wall or just hang it on a wall. We are planning to build a faux wall to insert it into, then add a mantle and hang a TV above it. It really adds a nice ambience to our family room. It would look great just about anywhere in your home. The remote is handy where you can control the heat and the colors and patterns of the flames. I would highly recommend this fireplace.
