Some assembly required. It is a lot of parts but it was not hard to put together.The instructions are pretty easy, little confusing but easy enough. If you can change a tire you can put this together.I got it for the blades instead of the trimmer to cut down the thicker stuff around my house.Took me about 30 minutes to put it together and I used the pre mix you find in stores and it fired up after about 5-6 pulls and runs perfect.It will cut down all the thicker stuff with no problem. The tool kit has all the bolts and tools to put it together also.Feels very solid and runs great. Just be careful with the blades on it and use proper eye care.5 stars!!

The instructions were mostly images that were hard to make out and most of it was just hoping for the best. I still don't have the whole thing put together, but hopefully I can find an online document with better images.
