I bought these shelves to use in my GARVEE greenhouse because they were six feet long. Since the side walls of my greenhouse are only four feet high, after assembling the vertical pipes, I cut them in half to make two shelf units six feet long and three feet high.I wouldn't consider these "heavy duty". They're not like the similar heavy duty shelving I see locally. The vertical pipes are only 3/4 in. in diameter. However, they should fit my purpose.
This shelf was very nice to put together; it’s all plastic but it has held all my bins with no problems. I would recommend them to someone. I have mine in my garage.
I should have paid a little more attention to the details of this. They post pictures in the descriptions that make it appear larger than it is. I am interested to see the weight it is able to hold. I was able to assemble it by myself in less than an hour. Instructions were decent. It seems to be sturdy. Will work for my storage. Wish it was a little wider.
I have a love-hate relationship with these types of shelves, but these are sturdy and work very well for my space. The instructions could be more in depth, but the pictures were helpful. 4.5 stars.
