So here's the situation: the driveway is sloped towards the garage door and it's the lowest spot in the area. Whenever it rains, the water pools right in front of the door. Not only does this rot out the wood, but it also leaks into the garage. I tried pouring a hump but the concrete just breaks up because it's not thick enough and it didn't stop the water from coming in. This speed bump was my solution. Well, actually two of them, because one wasn't long enough.This is a heavy rubber speed bump that has holes for screwing into the ground. Included in the box are the speed bump, two rounded end pieces, the bolts as well as a masonry bit. Unfortunately, the included bit was too large for the hammer drill and I had to buy another, and of course those were a different size, so I ended up buying new bolts to fit. Maybe that's my fault, but the base of the bit was rather large, so I'm not sure what drill could have properly accommodated. Regardless, even without instructions, the installation was easy once I got over those hurdles.I appreciate the heavy build. Time will tell but it seems like it will hold up for many years. The holes for mounting were blocked by rubber and there was no caps for covering them. I assume I was supposed to drill them out as there were already metal washers preinstalled. I worry about the bolts rusting over time as they are exposed to the elements. For good measure, I applied some self leveling concrete caulk to help seal the gap. I don't expect this to completely fix the problem, but I hope that it at least keeps most of the water from coming into the garage. I will update with the results, but for now I'm pretty optimistic about how this will hold up.

These speed bumps have really helped with slowing down traffic. Some drivers will slow down to go over them. Others will slow down and go around them. Either way, they're slowing down and making the parking lot safer.

I live on a private lane in a very rural area, it's "dirt", neighbors and delivery vehicles drive by my house way too fast, I bought a speed bump ahead sign and this speed bump and installed by driving random concrete anchor screws in with a hammer, the screws are about 6 to 8 inches long, the ground is hard on the lane because of all the sand on top washing away over the years to the hard stuff, it's a lot of chert rock and so forth, hard pack sand, I'm an hour below the georgia fall line,it is holding well, not only can you use the 3 holes in the middle for bolts but on the edges you will see low spots in the rubber, on those spots you can easily drive something through,or screw something through, this speed bump works and it's not over the top like some speed bumps you think you slowed down enough and next thing you know it feels like a scene from 2012.

Definitely heavy duty feel sorry for the UPS guy sure seem heavier than the 22lbs listed one piece is heavier than that. 6 ft heavy box I just laid it down from where UPS set it and took them out one at a time. Have an issue with water flowing toward my garage then flooding it. Using these to hopefully divert the water and therfore get less flooding. More permanent solution would be to tear out part of the driveway and re-do it I'm hoping this much cheaper solution works. As these seem like they'll last a while they maybe my permanent solution. Only the next rain will tell.

Instead of using it outdoor as speed bump, I placed it inside the garage as a stopper. I bought it because I accidentally hit the racks leaning against the drywall a couple of times, the rack and the items on it almost fell down on my car. I tried other objects or boxes before, all of them are kind of light, and can be pushed away after days.This speed bump is heavy enough, even just placed it without using any bolts, so there is no damage on the garage floor actually. I didn't see its movement after a couple of hits from my car, certainly the speed is very slow in garage. But it is working in my use case.

Well, it's pretty cool. It's big and black and rubbery. It's hard to carry, but that's OK because why would you lug it around anyway? We use it to drive a low slung car up the driveway and over a ridge of concrete without it scraping. I was able to move it around and find the right position. It's really a speed bump, but we can't get up enough speed to enjoy the bump. Anyway, it works better than the boards we nailed together before. We're happy.

They are definately what we ordered. But, they are very heavy and should be shiped in each, their own package. Be ready to seperate before lifting.

These are heavy duty, commercial grade rubber type speed bumps. Emphasis on the heavy duty as they weigh more than you might think. Although you could use these for it, not really meant for temporary usage like for covering cords during a concert or similar as you can get much lighter weight ones for that (although those are likely not rated for 66000 lbs). Black/yellow coloring is bright and crisp out of the box. They are not super wide at 39" each, so if you are using for cars/trucks you will need to place 2 side by side. Includes concrete wedge type anchors for installation.

Expect Heavy Duty! These speed bumps are designed to last for years and will do the job in warning cars to slow down. The yellow stripes are unmistakable and the height will get their attention.The strips are made of solid rubber each one has four mounting holes. To secure the bumps to the ground, first decide the preferred mounting location and then mark the position of each hole. Drill on the marks, insert the bolts and tighten them up. There is a collar on each bolt that expands and holds the bolts in the holes. The bolts can be loosened and removed which is handy if the speed bump location needs changed.The bumps are rated for 25,000 pounds so they'll work for any place where the speed of cars or trucks is a problem. If the strips are mounted right next to each other, the width is wide enough for most cars but the option also exists to separate them a foot or two if larger vehicles are expected.
