Son and I put it together in 30 minutes. Very sturdy, strong construction, looks great! Four drawers underneath are metal baskets that connect to the bed in front but are free rolling, not on rails so they can be taken out easily (see left side)
I love this, and it gives me more space for clothes. However, It squeaks a lot. And if you have anyone else in it or..... yeah... just know the neighbors will know.
This purchase was for our home, it is sturdy and easy to put together. We purchased it because of the added storage and the weight capacity as we are not a small couple. I would recommend this buy if ur looking for a bed with storage. It does sit low but we love it because we are short but we are able to sit at the edge of the bed with no problem.
