When Functionality and Style Merge

One of the aspects that most concerned me initially was that the rug came folded rather than rolled, so there were creases and air bubbles that made it look like it had been in storage for a year. But after a week I could see that these ridges and ruffles were flattening out. Too, its thin nature on hardwood requires padding that I am about to purchase, and the padding's cost will exceed the cost of the rugs. In addition, on a hard floor, the cushioning is a necessity for comfort and rug stability. A piece of advice--investigate padding types carefully about the floor type you have, the material that the padding is made of, whether its odor is a real problem, and the proper thickness of the padding (cost is involved in padding thickness as well. I love the color, but realized that in a winter climate, keeping it clean will be a challenge. But because I live alone, I am highly protective of dragging dirt in and cleaning the rug regularly. I have already prepared for the inevitable stains and spills that occur in high traffic areas. Still love the look though!
