Super soft and perfect! Size is generous; ordered the 9x12 and it did not disappoint like some other rugs that end up being "rounded to the size", but are actually smaller. Haven't tried to clean it yet, but I imagine it will vacuum nicely, making it perfect for life with kids! Came with wrinkle folds, but I'm sure in time they'll relax. Seems very sturdy, if you can call a rug sturdy(?), it is thicker than a blanket, but perfect for a thin rug. Plus, shipping arrived a day early!

The biggest advantage of this rug by far is that it is washable. That is a must in a multi-cat household. The very low pile keeps it thin enough for use under doors. Critically, though, it doesn't have the satisfying loops that a thicker rug does that tempts the cats to rip it to shreds.
