Lightweight and soft, not for heavy use

This is a low-pile rug with a very soft and comfortable texture. I purchased it because the color and pattern perfectly matched my bedroom décor, and it adds a nice, modern look to the space.It’s definitely not meant for high-traffic areas. Even with the rubber backing, it can feel a little slippery at times, so I’d recommend placing a non-slip or runner mat underneath for better grip. Overall, it’s a nice decorative and cozy rug, best suited for bedrooms or light-use areas.

Better in person

I liked this more in person, the dark brown stripes have some darker variations/ graphic in them versus a solid flat color, so it takes both the color and style up a bit for me. Roll it face out for awhile before laying down, to help relax the fold lines easily. A stick vacuum and hand vacuum works easily, and stays over a rug pad. Really cute style, I'd order a larger size as well and check out other colors seeing as I liked this even more than expected!

Very soft!

This washable 5 x 7 area rug is true to its description and very soft to walk on. It is very thin so I would not recommend for a high traffic area as I would be concerned about its long term durability. However, it is a washable rug so that is a huge bonus. We have obviously not tried to wash it yet. And of course, it came folded instead of rolled, and therefore we have creases which I’ve been unable to flatten. We are using it in a guest bedroom, so it’s not that big of a deal, but I would’ve preferred that the rug arrived rolled to prevent creases.

Washable and perfect for homes with pets!

I am so happy with the GARVEE Washable 5x7 Area Rug. The modern black stripe design looks stylish and clean in my space, but the real game-changer is that it’s completely washable. I have dogs, and being able to just toss the rug in the wash is the only way I can keep up with messes and pet hair. No more stressing over accidents or muddy paws! It lays flat right away and feels durable without being thick or bulky.If you need something practical, low-maintenance, and still modern and cute, this rug is perfect, especially if you’ve got pets or kids. Absolute lifesaver!
