It's a nice rug for an activity room. The shaggy fabric is soft, but not very plush. It would've been nicer if they added some cushion. It's not bad for the price. I just wish it were thicker and softer to walk on. It comes vacuum sealed and packaged about as small as it could be.
Nice rug as described
I ordered this rug in navy blue for our toddler’s room which has a race car theme. The rug is very soft and plush and our little one immediately started sliding his feet around on it and loved how it felt.There was a noticeable smell right out of the bag but after about a day it nearly completely disappeared. The backing reminds me of a bathroom rug with non-slip nubs which makes it perfect for hard floors. We placed ours over low pile carpet and it still stays in place pretty well.The color is very dark. It has a hint of navy blue in some lighting, but in most lighting it almost looks black. Ours has not shed at all. It's sitting on almost white carpet, so any shedding, especially of the darker blue, would be pretty obvious.For $30 at the time of review this rug feels like an excellent value especially for the larger 5'x8' size.
This rug is absolutely gorgeous—thick, plush, and clearly made with great quality. I love the bold black and white checker pattern; it adds a fun and modern touch to the room. It’s the perfect size for my daughter’s room, and she loves how soft and cozy it feels under her feet. We’re both delighted and pleased with it!
