Why did you pick this product vs others?:Super cute rug. Great for the price! Soft! The color leads burgundy in the photo but it’s a true brown
This review is for the scalloped-edge, green runner (2x6).The runner is very eye-catching. It's a beautiful piece with its scalloped edges, making it uniquely different than the other runners I have in my home. I have runners through my new home for their practicality, ease, beauty, and ability to protect my brand-new carpet from dirt, wear, and tear. This runner is my favorite because it is beautiful, vintagey, and unique. The green color is gorgeous. The rug is thin, soft, and lightweight, making it super easy for my arthritic body to position it, maintain it, and toss it in the wash. Easy maintenance. I would have given this beauty 5 stars if it weren't for the visible, difficult-to-remove creases. These rugs need to be rolled up, not folded, before reaching the buyer.Otherwise, highly recommend.
I obtained this for my front entry. I have 4 adults and multiple pets who are constantly in and out. This has already proven itself several times over. Between mud and rain, dog accidents, and tar it has already earned a place in my heart! No staining! No liquid leak or bleeding through. I was even able to use a plastic spatula and remove tar tracked in on hubby’s boots from work without any appreciable difference. I have already washed this several times. IMO I would not attempt to wash a size larger than the 5 x7 as I have a heavy-duty front loader and this rug does max it out. It is quick to dry when placed outside. Mine is on LVP on does not slide at all. A regular vacuuming keeps it looking nice. The scalloped edges make for a unique detail and the straited, almost heathered look of the colors mean if it were to stain, it would not be as noticeable. It is very soft to touch/walk on, but thin. This low profile is very effective for the doorway and makes it equally simple to fold and store. Such a nice rug. It's actually thick enough to be vacuumed! Quite soft as well, my dog Hans loves it as you can see in the pic. The back has a nonslip rubber texture that lives up to it's name (no slip on hardwood) and it does have a pretty checkered design and lovely border. We really like it and think it looks great in our kitchen. No gripes.
