The edges all laid flat but the fold creases are still there just a few hours after laying it down.So far I've only had to spot clean and it came out well. Since I haven't washed it yet I can't speak to how well it'll do. I don't anticipate any problems. The rug does have a rubber backing so I'll probably just hang it to dry.If you need to vacuum it, be sure to turn off the beater/roller thing because it will be sucked up because this rug is very thin.Overall. There is a little more purple in it than I expected-but that really didn't take away from the blue, it was more a nice accent to make everything pop.Quality: This rug is extremely well made. It is thick with a very tight weave that I expect it to last a long time- even with heavy traffic. It is beyond soft and comfortable to walk on. The rug lays flat and doesn't roll up. The non slip backing keeps it in place as it should. It was even easy to vacuum, staying in place effortlessly.For the price you won't find a better quality rug. I highly recommend this, it's an excellent value.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:8x10 might sound huge. And it is. But the larger the rug, the bigger your room will feel. I picked this one because of the pattern and color. It really matches the boho vibe of our living room. It’s really lightweight though. That’s both good and bad. Bad because it’s shifted after the dog got the zoomies. But maybe it will stop shifting after it’s settled and the creases have fallen out. Good because it’s going to be easy to machine wash if the need ever arises. Also, it’s low pile which is great for spot cleaning. I’m pleased with it and I think it’s a really good value for a rug this size.

I initially put it in the living room, but I think the color is too light to go there, so I'm going to move it into the bedroom. I'd just hate for one set of muddy boots to ruin this. It says I can just toss it in the washing machine, but it's a pretty sizeable rug and I'm rather doubtful it will fit.
