Absolutely delightful runner. I have this in my Carolina Room because we're trying to make that into a four season room and the tile floor is freezing in winter. I already had one rug out there and rather than replace it, I decided to complement it, and this complements it nicely. I love the distressed aspect without it actually being distressed. It's very soft and thick. Feels good on the feet. I can tell already that it's going to stand up to the machinations of my cats who like using it as a runway both for stopping and taking off. All in all, a great addition to my collection.

But seriously, I wanted more warmth in our temp living space, and this rug is perfect! It's already distressed, so it won't matter if the cats, dog, kids, or hubby or I wear it out here. Eventually, I want it to be in our home once that's built. A simple shampoo should do the trick, and it'll look as distressed as ever, yet still look beautiful!I must say that I was a little sad when I laid it down next to the other runner we have. I thought they were the same size, but this one is a bit skinnier. I looked at the order for the other runner and it is 6" wider. The more I think about that, since our home hallways will be 3' wide, having a 2' runner might look odd. Perhaps I'll have it in my small office instead.But that is something to consider.Besides that, I absolutely love it!Highly recommend!Happy Shopping!

Based on another review I am hopeful the fold creases will disappear soon.I got this 2x6 size runner for a spot in my 1800s home with original ill-kept floors. It took much longer than expected to arrive, and when it came the box was so small and light I thought I had been sent a smaller one than I ordered. It was only the packaging. It is a great look for my old house, and I love, love, love how soft it is. I tried "surfing" on it a bit and I couldn't get it to slip. It is neither noticeably thick nor thin. I like it enough that I think I will buy another for another spot. It feels worth the money to me.

Looks great in our front entry way and is easy to toss in the washer for easy cleaning. Perfect for high traffic areas, and is very soft. Color is vivid and a good value.
