My daughter and wife replace hair dryers every 4-6 months. They use them every day and both of them have long hair. Motors fail in most of the cases. Only a few times the heating coil failed before the motor. A few hair dryers I took apart out of curiosity and the failure reasons were either brushes fused to the commutator plates or seized up bushings caused armature overheat and failure. I believe the unique high end design of this hair dryer addresses both issues. Brushless motor has no brushes or commutator by definition and hence no friction points that can heat up and seize the motor shaft. Due to extremely high rpms brushless motors use ball bearings that live a lot longer than bushings or journals. This dryer also has a very compact form factor. This is because high rpm brushless motors can get away with much smaller fans delivering the same if not higher CFM rates. With a smaller manifold diameter, the handle can be folded parallel to the manifold. Soft carrying pouch is included. Also included 2 different size flat nozzles, 1 full head nozzle and cleaning brush. Nozzles attach magnetically. Both speed and temperature can be adjusted. There is also a cool shot button that shuts off the heating coil. It can be used to cool down the heating coil just before the dryer fan is shut off to further extend motor life. Dryer has relatively long cord and GFCI plug.

Great for every day or travel. Folds down nice and small and even comes w/a nice carry bag. It's rather quiet for blow dryer and the attachments fit well.

It’s pure love! It makes my hair dry really fast and it’s really silky and smooth (no frizzies!!)! It looks like I walked out of an expensive salon and all I used was the dryer and some heat protectant creme :) I love the way it turns on really fast and that the power button is a slider (so it’s hard to turn off by accident). I love how it remembers the last setting I used, too (fan speed, heat). What I love best is how fast and well it dries my hair, though.It was easy and very intuitive to change the control settings. They are long silver buttons and are placed on the side so I didn’t accidentally change them while drying my hair, either. It’s very quiet. It just hisses (the hiss lets you know it’s a great hair dryer. All the good ones I’ve tried hiss). I love the 360 swiveling power cord and that it came with a velcro cord keeper. The cool shot came out cool really fast and really made my hair shine. Oh, and I really love that the attachments are magnetic. I didn’t have to struggle to put them on or off (I used the long concentrator). It has an auto-clean function but I haven’t tried it. I can’t think it’s dirty yet.>>Tip: If the dryer doesn’t turn on hit the Reset button on the ALCI plug.There was a bit of an issue though. I couldn’t clear the air inlet. It says the back should open and come off it I turn it counter-clockwise (instruction page 08) but I can’t seem to do it.The captions are printed onto the device and don’t look like stickers. It has the dual insulated mark on it, but is not dual voltage. The diffuser doesn’t fit into the included black velveteen pouch. All the other things do fit in together.You won’t be sorry you got this! I’m not :) It’d make a nice gift because the box is full color and really nice…and it’s a totally awesome hair dryer!P.S. The circle of hearts in the back air intake looks cute, too :)

Such a great hair dryer, it's powerful and looks stylish. Quality of this product is top and premium. With the negative ion's it's super quick to dry the hair and very light weight to use it.The design of this product is absolutely great, as it mentioned it's travel ready and will not take much space, but the wire length is more and thicker :) which makes sometime lil tougher it get in.The provided 3 nozzle are great and most of the time 2 of them is enough, the magnetic attachment is my fav rather fighting with it. I have to tell this, the noice level is very low, it sounds like a small toy car motor sound, very effective.Cool/Hot and 3 speed are greatly adds value to this product, most of the time 2nd level speed is more than enough, I love the cool part of drying the hair when it comes to kid to avoid heat. Brushless motor is wonderful and cleaning brush is perfect and I liked it. Like a traditional hair dryer it will not take much dirt into it.I'm not a fan of the button indicators, as they being very small not noticeable or not much use to me, the indicator light could've been bigger or not required. The motor has a slight delay to start and stop but not a big deal. I like this hair dryer very much.

This is an awesome hair dryer. It’s SO powerful and compact. LOVE all the gadgets it comes with and it was packaged so nicely. I love how the handle spins around to make the whole unit smaller. I also LOVE that when you turn on the cold shot, it STAYS on…..not like others where you have to hold it down to use it. It’s also pretty quiet. This is a MUST!!

I needed a blow dryer for traveling that could dry my hair in a reasonable amount of time. I use it daily now. I am a licensed hair dresser (retired) and feel this compares to any good quality dryer. The only thing I don't like is I feel the cord is very heavy and I would have liked it a bit longer but not a deal breaker for me. I highly recommend this dryer. I fact I bought 2!

I was happily surprised by this little hairdryer, it actually makes my hair look better! I had just wanted a replacement for my old one and liked the portability of this one. I certainly didn't believe all the ion hype. But something has made my shoulder length hair smoother and has calmed down its frizz. After a few hours, it even falls nicely into long waves. Yowza! BTW, I use the smaller attachment angled to blow directly. on each side. It has a nifty magnetized connection.I'm less than thrilled with the settings buttons, which are small, thin, and too easy to hit by accident, especially the "cool" function. Also, the On/Off control looks like another button but is actually a toggle switch. But once I figured them out, they worked fine. I really like the 3 levels of heat and the 3 levels of forced air; my hair drying time has been cut by a third.Finally, this little machine gets hot and retains heat for several minutes after being turned off. I put the nozzle in an oversized mug until it cools down and recommended something similar for other users.

My hair is smoother and less frizzy.
