I got this set because I wanted a few different cutting board sizes instead of using one large board for everything. The three sizes are genuinely useful: the small one is good for quick jobs like fruit or cheese, the medium one works well for everyday prep, and the largest board is better for vegetables, bread, or larger items.The bamboo looks nice on the counter and feels sturdier than thin plastic boards. I also like the juice groove because it helps keep small amounts of liquid from running onto the counter. The boards are not overly heavy, so they are easy to move, rinse, and store, but they still feel solid enough for normal kitchen use.The main thing to remember is that these need the usual care that wood or bamboo boards require. I would not put them in the dishwasher, leave them soaking, or treat them like a cheap plastic board. A quick hand wash, drying them well, and occasional oiling should help keep them in better shape.Overall, this is a practical and attractive cutting board set for everyday food prep. It is not a premium butcher block, but for the price and the flexibility of having three sizes, it is a very useful kitchen set. I use them daily and keep my large wooden cutting board for serious cooking.

I ordered these GARVEE Bamboo Cutting Board (Set of 3 for Kitchen 15x10/12x8/9x6 in Wooden Chopping Board with Deep Juice Groove & Hanging Hole, Serving Tray for Meat Fruit Vegetables) for a friend who is purchasing her first home and I wanted to add these to her new home gift basket. HOWEVER, upon opening the plastic that wrapped the 3 boards, it had a very potent smell (which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars). If you plan on gifting them, be sure to let them air out first! The smell does eventually go away. They came in 3 sizes and are multi-purpose...whether cutting a lime for a drink (small), veggies for dinner (medium) or meat to throw on kabobs (large). They would also be great for a meat/cheese/fruit board (aka: charcuterie). I personally have small cutting boards for cutting up small items (ie: limes or an apple) on a whim. I love them because they are just super convenient to get the job done. Bamboo is easy to clean and dry on a drying rack. I would not put them in the dishwasher. The boards have a cutout for a finger (for carrying or hanging up) and have a "juice ring" around the top of the board to catch all the juices when cutting up veggies, fruit or meat. They also have a "lip" underneath" on either side of the board for carrying purposes. They are just over 1/2 inch thick so they seem durable, too... if you happen to drop it (for whatever reason), it doesn't seem like it would break. If you are one to store your cutting boards on your countertops, they would definitely make a cute arrangement with the 3 sizes. For around $30, you can't beat these 3 bamboo cutting boards.

These are very sturdy and warp resistant. They are easy to clean and multi uses from preparing food to serving it! They are stackable and easy to store and are medium thickness. We love that that they come in different sizes. The price is fair, these are very nice quality!We are pleased with this set and would order again. Would also make a nice housewarming gift!

Great convenient sizes, very nice quality. With all the talk of the danger of plastics--this is definitely a safer alternative.The groove perimeter is great for catching/containing any liquid like when you cut a roast. The hole in the corner is convenient if you have a place to hang your boards.Actually, this set would make a great gift as most people have old cutting boards that are plastic and old.No issues with the boards slipping and they look very attractive
