This area rug is perfect for what I need. It's thin enough that i can still roll my desk chair without problem. It's so soft my cat has decided it's hers. Quite the compliment from a very prissy cat.The creases are still there but it's only been a few hours. I don't see any defects in the stitching and the edges lay flat.The instructions say it's machine washable but I doubt the 3x5' will fit in my washer without issues so I'll stick with spot cleaning when necessary.It does have a rubber backing though it's very thin you might want to put a rubber mat underneath if it's on a bare floor.The colors are a little more muted than expected but still very nice.For the price point it exceeds my expectations. I'm quite pleased.
The colors and pattern of this are very attractive; mostly a neutral gray with cool grays and warm taupe in places along the border. It comes tightly folded in a box, so I will have to see how the fold lines come out over time; the instructions say you can use a warm steam iron, which I will try after a few days if they are still prominent. The rug is thin enough that it bunches easily (like even from resting your feet on it as you sit on the furniture) so I have ordered a grip pad for under it that I hope will help. I would consider ordering a size that could be held in place by furniture legs instead of just going in the middle of the floor.
I ordered this rug to go under my kitchen table. I wanted a rug to soften the look of the room and break up the look of the wood floor and the wood table. However it was tricky picking a size because my kitchen table is fairly large. I didn’t want a rug so large that it got caught up in the chairs and got food spilled on it, but it didn’t want it so small that it wasn’t big enough. I decided to go with a 5x7 and it’s just right. Also, the printing on the rug is consistent throughout and didn’t rub off in the creases where it was folded during shipping (I’ve found that to be a problem sometimes.). Lastly, in the event that someone does spill food or drinks on the rug, it’s totally washable and can be thrown right into my washing machine. Great purchase!
This rug arrived folded, sealed in plastic, and neatly boxed. The material is oh so soft with a rubber stay put underside. The graphics are clear with colors that blend from greys to warm white (I ordered grey). Once unfolded, it layed flat in about 6-8 hours. You can use an iron on a low setting to assist. Great neutral rug.
