I am in the process of building book shelf and cabinet built-ins in our remodeled basement. For joinery I will be using a combination pocket hole screws, biscuits and wooden dowels. This drill press will come in handy for edge drilling holes in boards for wooden dowels so they can be joined and edge glued together to form cabinet tops.At first I wasn't sure if this came with a depth stop gauge because it wasn't clear in the product description. I'm satisfied with product, however the instruction manual has Model: DP0813ZM but the Garvee specs. show BOCHJ8ZS81. Also garvee shows 5 Gear Speed Adjustment but the owners manual no mention. I gave the product 5 stars only because it meets my needs but makes me wonder, did I get the wrong product.

Great for bench top. Built solid. Easy to move

i've had one for about half a year, my only issue has been the depth gauge is incorrect, and the motor seems to get warm rather quickly. but I use it for drilling steel, and I might be a little hard on it. Adjusting the belt is real easy. And by adjusting the speed it gives me all the power that I need for half inch drill bits and larger. It doesn't have all the options though more expensive ones do, but it does the job I need to. So for the money, it's a good deal.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My light duty shop works well

Bought for gift for son in law. He is just beginning to do little projects around the house. No room for a floor model, plus we could not afford. Husband found this drill press and felt it was good for a first drill press. Son in law is very happy with it. It does everything he needs it to do.

I would have given a 5 star, probably a 9 star, rating, but the column clamp had some metal casting overage and I had to spend a bit of time fitting it correctly. I've used it quite a bit now and it has been real solid. Definitely a pleasure to work with.Enjoy
