This chafing dish is great for any parties or gathering event. I have a mixed feelings about this product. The material doesn't feel high end, which was disappointing. There are quite a few assembly steps, making it a hassle to set up than I expected. Additionally, I noticed several scratches on the product upon arrival. The gold finished is more like brass gold, and it looks cheap rather than elegant due to the uneven coloring of the gold. On the positive side, the size is great for larger group party sizes, making it convenient for buffets. Another issue I notice, in the listing picture shows the fuel holder is off the ground, but mine does not. It touches the table/ground. Hence, I'm worried the table it sits on might get damage.I wish the overall quality was better.

These are not only gorgeous they are high quality and work great! They exceeded my expectations! They were easy to assemble. The directions were not great but it was pretty self explanatory to be honest. Once together. You fill the larger dish (deep one) with water enough to touch the shallow one’s bottom. Light the sterno (not included) and fill the dish with food.The serving spoon was also very nice. After it can go in the dishwasher ! Love it

I was debating between giving this three or four stars. Apparently they read earlier reviews because my bowls were wrapped separately. It wasn't a problem pulling them apart. The instructions were straightforward. I had no problem putting them together. However, for both of mine, the hole for the fuel holder was too large causing it to sit much lower. Therefore the heat is further away from the water pan. I'm not sure it will heat well. Will need to figure a way to raise them up with something compatible where heat won't be an issue.Happy they were larger than I expected.Will update later after I use them to keep food warm.
